God is on your side

Daily prophetic word
No Fear of Man!
"Fear not what some might say or even things they have tried to do," says the Lord.  "I, the Lord, am standing on your side and have put My hand over you and their attempts to intimidate you will not harm or injure you!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Psalm 117:6 - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

All through history, the devil has plotted, using people to try to indimidate, attack and afflict the people of God.  Using words, lies, fear tactics and many other means, there will always be somebody that does not have your best interest at heart.  Yet, I love the simplicity of the Scripture above.  It doesn't go into a  lot of detail about what might try to make you fearful.  It doesn't even detail how the Lord will help you escape people's attempt to harm or discourage you.  All it says, is simply that the Lord is on your side.  Think of it like the times when you were a child on the playground, and the kids would pick teams to play a ballgame.  There was always that one kid that everybody wanted on their team!  It was thought that if you had that one kid on your side, then everything would turn out fine and you expected the other team to lose without question.  When the Lord is for you, the ballgame is over before the first play, even though you play the entire thing until the end!  That is why this verse follows with the simple statement, "what can man do unto me?"  The answer?  Nothing, absolutely nothing!  Oh, there may be times that it may look like you are losing the game to the natural eye, but it's not over until it's over.  Sometimes  that means the game goes into overtime, but if the Lord is on your team, the win is certain.  It's over!  God is going to see you through it.  Now, winning doesn't mean we are taunting our enemies.  We are commanded in the Bible to love people, even those who are trying to put us down, but we don't have to fear them.  The blessing is found in knowing that no matter what anyone tries to do to you in your life, God is for you!  That is all we need to know isn't it?

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,  I thank You, that You are on my side today.  You are for me!  I worship You because I know you will be my defense and help.  I declare today, that I will not be fearful of what man may do to me, because You are my life!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen!

The Season of the Holy Spirit

Daily prophetic word
Time of the Dove!
"And this shall be the season of the dove," says the Spirit, "when My presence shall cover the face of the Earth, even in the midst of much darkness.  My Spirit is moving in the supernatural and My people will say across the globe that the sighting of the dove is found here and there, and it is upon us now!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Matthew 3:16-17 - And Jesus, when he was baptized went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him;  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

We find through Scripture that when the Spirit of God was resting on something, we often see where an actual dove descended or was present.  Of course, we know the Bible likens the Holy Spirit to a dove.  Recently, I have noticed so many people reporting that they are seeing doves more often than normal.  Now, we don't want to be extreme and start a new "dove sighting ministry."  However, I do know that when God is doing something miraculous, He will often couple it with certain prophetic signs.  I believe as people everywhere seem to be seeing doves repeatedly, God is just reminding us that we are living in a time when His Holy Spirit is manifesting in supernatural ways.  His glory is going to cover this earth like the waters cover the sea!  So, remember the next time you see a dove land nearby, remind yourself that the Spirit of the Lord is doing mighty and wonderful things in your life and around the  world!  This is the season of the Holy Spirit, the season of the dove!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I am so grateful today for the presence of the Holy Spirit who lives inside of me.  I thank You Holy Spirit for your supernatural presence that is working wonders in my life.  I receive Your comfort, Your teaching, Your help and Your power for everything I need today.  I expect to see Your miraculous manifestation in my life and in the earth and I thank You for it!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Expect the Anointing to Increase in your Life

Daily prophetic word
Increasing Your Measure of Anointing
"Watch as I increase your measure of influence, even today," says God. "I will cause you to speak My words in a bold and confident way that you did not seem to have before.  For know that the measure of anointing is increasing upon you."

Prophetic Scripture:
John 3:34 - For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

When the Lord sent Jesus into the world as a heavenly spokesman, the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him without measure.  He needed the power of God on His life for the task at hand.  Most people understand that truth.  What many don't often realize is that God wants to give us His Spirit in an unlimited way also.  Now Jesus walked in umlimited power, or without measure because He grew into a man of full spiritual maturity.  God could anoint Him without limits because Jesus learned the ways of God and was able to handle the power of God on such a level.  For us, God wants to increase the anointing on our life too, as we become His spokeman in the earth.  He wants to increase our measure of power as we learn God's ways, and can handle the anointing properly.  When the measure of anointing on your life increases, you will have new boldness, confidence and be able to manifest God to people in a way that is beyond human capability.  So position yourself today for an increase of anointing by growing and drawing close to God, asking for it and then expecting the anointing to increase in your life.  When you do, I believe by this time next year you will be amazed at how much stronger the Holy Spirit's presence is upon your life!  God is increasing your measure today!

Prayer:

Dear Father, I ask You today for an increase in the anointing upon my life.  Teach me how to grow and handle Your power correctly and with maturity.  I submit myself to You and those who you have placed to help me mature in my life and I expect a new anointing of power, confidence and boldnes to begin to grow within me today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

God's Provision

Daily prophetic word
The Testimony of Prosperity
"Today, I declare that you are called The Testimony of Prosperity!  All provision, all help, and all supply is raining upon your life, even today!" says the Spirit of the Lord.

Prophetic Scripture:
1 Kings 2:3 - And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his  commandments, and his judgements, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and withersoever thou turnest thyself;

Following God closely in your life is always connected to prosperity.  In other words when you serve the Lord and make Him number one in your life, you cannot help but walk in blessing.  You will be a testimony of His blessing upon your life!  Prosperity doesn't just apply to finances, even though money is included as you can see that is true throughout the Bible.  Prosperity simply means that in every area of life, you are living to the fullest.  Prosperity speaks of wealth, but that wealth may be emotional wealth.  It may be wealth in your family relationships.  With so many things attacking the family today, we need our families and home life to prosper in a fresh way. Prospetity can be in regards to God's anointing upon your life to serve Him powerfully in the Kingdom.  God caused the ministry of mighty men like Moses, Joshua and Elijah to prosper, and of course, monetary provision was always conntected to it!  Know today, that if you stay close to God and obey Him, you cannot help but become a Testimony of Prosperity right now!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, It is a privilege to serve You.  I ask that You will help me walk in all Your commandments every day of my life.  Teach me how to follow You closely.  I believe that Your blessing rests upon my life in every way.  I believe that I shall live my life as a testimony to You and as a tesimony of  Your prosperity, so that the world will know that Jesus is alive!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

A forgiving heart

Daily prophetic word
Let it Go!
"Know that this is not the time to hold any offense in your heart toward another," says the Lord.  "Drop all feelings of resentment and anger in this season, even let them go from your thoughts.  For many answers to prayer are just waiting to be released out of the heavens for those of a forgiving heart."

Prophetic Scripture:
Mark 11:24-25 - Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

It is easy to overlook the fact that answered prayer and forgiveness go hand-in-hand.  Yet, no matter how we slice the pie, this is a biblical truth.  In Matthew 18, the story of the servant who asked his master to forgive him was shown a great amount of mercy and spared from prison.  However, that same servant went and found someone indebted to him and refused to show forgiveness like he had received.  As a result, the servant lost his answer to prayer.  His requests to his master were taken away from him once his master found out what he had done.  Prayer is the same way.  The things we pray for and ask God for in the expectation of His mercy toward us, are dependant on whether or not we are willing to show the same kindness and grant the requests of others with mercy.  The reason the Lord so despises an unforgiving heart is because everything we receive from Him has come through His forgiveness for us.  Every time He has supplied a new job, healed a loved one or answered our prayers, it is because we are forgiven and handed His mercy each time.  Therefore, that is how the Lord expects us to deal with others.  We have to look past their faults and let go of our offenses.  Besides all of that, offense brewing in your heart toward someone else will only tear you apart.  It will eat away at you and take away your joy.  You might ask, "Yes, but what about the joy they stole from me!"  Well, I say don't let them steal it further through an unforgiving heart!  Let it go and move on.  That is the road back to joy and when you do that the heavens are positioned to open over you and your most needed prayers will be answered!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I choose today to forgive every person who has done wrong toward me.  I forgive _______________________________. I will no longer hold anything against them.  I ask You to bless them Lord.  Forgive me of those offenses  in my heart and I will not allow them in my mind anymore.  I thank You now that the heavens of blessing are open over my life and my prayers are being answered now!  In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Lord will Renew your Strength

Daily prophetic word
I Won't Give Up!
"For in this season, I am bringing refreshed strengh for My people," says God.  "Even those who have felt tempted to give up will find renewed energy.  So do not say that you feel tired and weary anymore.  Declare that you will not give up!  For this is the hour to say, I am strong and alive!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Everyone has probably asked themselves at one point or another, regarding something in their life, "What's the use?"  Today, people are more faint than ever.  More people are tired.  It is obvious to see that as the shelves of our grocery stores are filled with all types of energy drinks, pills and foods!   You hear people everywhere saying the words, "I am so tired."  Well, whatever it is that you may be fighting today, that thing that seems to be wearing you out, God has a solution.  Pull aside from the rat-race and the emotional battlefield and spend time with the Lord alone so you can get renewed.  Rearrange some time in your schedule for some special time with God.  You may think you cannot afford the time, but the truth is, you can't afford not to do it!  Otherwise you will find yourself running through life as hard as you can and never getting anywhere.  Those who wait on the Lord, or spend time with the Lord, will be strong people.  These will run the race of life and never grow tired!  Sound impossible?  No, because with God anything can happen.  Start to see yourself full of life and energy and most of all, just declare that you will not give up and not be tired, no matter what you are dealing with today!  You can do it because the Lord will renew your strength in this hour!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,  I commit my life to You afresh today, to spend time waiting and ministering to You alone.  Renew me as I worship You, pray and read Your Word.  I repent for ever saying I am tired or want to quit.  Revive my strength Lord and I declare that I will never grow weary, In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Revival of the Super-Natural

Daily prophetic word
God's Work Revived
"For this is the time to pray and expect a revival of the miraculous to be manifest among you," says the Spirit.  "So go back once again, to the place of anointing that sustained you in your prior years.   For when I revive this work of the miraculous in churches once again, the mass harvest will be drawn in, and they shall know that I am truly in the midst of you!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Psalm 85:6 - Wilt thou not revive us again:  that thy people may rejoice in thee?

The word revival literally means to live again.  That means to have revival you have to bring life back into something that has died or become weakened.  I believe we are in a serious time in the church when the work of miracles and manifestations of the Holy Spirit need to be revived because it has grown weak in many churches.  However, we need a tangible anointing of the Holy Spirit to be among us.  Sure, there is nothing wrong with good programs, Bible groups or classes, and even some practical ways to help our churches grow and be effective.  The problem is that many of these things have replaced the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Teaching Sunday School stories of Jesus when He healed people along the shores of Galilee is a good thing, but they become empty words when we can't show people a Jesus that heals today.  This is especially true when people are walking through real problems and they need a supernatural touch from God, not religious theology.  The Lord wants to touch people supernaturally.  Acts 10:38, says that Jesus went everywhere doing good and healing all who were oppressed.  Jesus has not changed.  He still desires to touch people with this kind of power.  He just needs you and I to ask for it, expect it and manifest it.  It's time to get back to church services where the glory of God rolls in and people leave delivered from demonic power, healed of diseases and filled with the Holy Ghost.  It's time for a revival of miracles and supernatural power in our personal lives.  The manifestation of the Spirit will not deter the hungry, it will draw them.  Sure, it may deter the religious people, but the same thing happened to Jesus.  We need to draw those who want God to work in their life, not those who just want a surface experience of religion.  It's time to revive the work of miracles.  I say, let the manifestations of God begin!

Prayer:

Dear Lord,  I pray today for a revival of the supernatural to begin first in my own life.  I will begin to pray and expect miracles more than ever.  I also ask that You will revive an anointing in the church for the manifestations of the Holy Spirit once again.  Bring about the kind of power that will change people's lives in a divine way.  Revive Your work Lord in my life and in all Your people today!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen!

Expect to receive an impartation

Daily prophetic word
Revelation and Impartation
"For let this be a day to receive from Me," says the Lord.  "If you will expect new revelation to come and miraculous things to take place, this day you shall be mightily imparted to by My Spirit which is upon you!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Galatians 1:12 - For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Whether you know it or not, God's Spirit is upon you today.  Perhaps you know so in theory, but have forgotten how to actively receive from His Spirit on you.  You see, God uses people, pastors, parents and even books and other means to teach us on a regular basis.  He will even allow the events of life to impart knowledge into our hearts.  However, we must never forgot that the Holy Spirit lives inside us, He hovers over us and longs to impart to us.  So how is impartation different than the natural process of growth and learning.  Impartation is instant and supernatural.  Revelation comes in a moment just the way you turn on a light switch.  You don't have to work up the power or read a manual for the light to turn on.  When you flip the switch, here comes the light!  In a moment!  The Holy Spirit wants to give you "moments" like that with Him.  Where He suddenly reveals something or brings a miraculous thrust of power.  Suddenly it comes!  I believe the reason we often don't see sudden downloads from the Holy Spirit is because we don't go about our day looking for them or expecting them!  Start expecting it and you will receive impartation from the Lord today!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I activate my faith today that new revelation comes into my spirit. I ask you to speak to me today and impart a fresh anointing.  I expect to see and hear new and exciting things from the Holy Spirit.  Let miraculous things manifest suddenly over me today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

True maturity takes time

Daily prophetic word
Increasing Your Spiritual Stature
"For I am causing you to grow in your mature wisdom," says the Spirit.   "Even the way some people are responding to you now will begin to change as your stature increases and you will have greater favor with them in the days ahead," says the Lord.

Prophetic Scripture:
Luke 2:52 - And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

We assume because Jesus was the Son of God, that He was born into perfect maturity.  However, although He did not commit sin in His life, He did have to grow up from childhood and all the things that go with that.  Notice that is says Jesus increased in wisdom.  That means it wasn't just automatic, but was something He developed in His life as He grew up.  Well, if Jesus had to increase in wisdom, then who are we kidding!  We need to grow also, and cannot assume that we are always mature about everything.  Often we assume that when certain people respond to us negatively in certain situations, it is because they don't understand us or accept us.  Sometimes it is not that they not trying to mistreat us, but instead are actually resonding to some of our childlike behaviors, which are not necessarily all bad.  Many of these things take time to outgrow and that is okay.  We don't expect our young children to eat their food as neatly as an adult.  As good parents we teach them good table manners that they can develop over time.  it is the same way with us in our spiritual growth.  True maturity takes time, but the key is that we need to make sure we are making progress in our growth.  We need to realize the Lord will help us mature in our spiritual stature before others, just the way the Lord anointed Jesus to do so.  With that we will find ourselves growing and enjoying an increase of favor upon our lives as we deal with people in so many walks of life.  Be confident that God is increasing your spiritual stature today!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank You that You are increasing my spiritual stature and maturity today.  Teach me how to grow in all walks of life, so that I will have favor will all those that come into contact with.  I ask You to anoint me with the power of spiritual maturity and wisdom the way that Jesus was anointed.  I thank You for that today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Increase in GRACE

Daily prophetic word
The Church of Great Grace
"Even as evil in the world increases, so will I increase My grace upon you," says the Lord.  "For with great power will the church be able to declare My name among the heathen and she will not be in need of anything."

Prophetic Scripture:
Acts 4:33 - And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Jesus said that in the last days the spirit of lawlessness would increase in the world.  I think with all of the things going on in some of our cultures lawlessness truly has increased.  More things are being written in the law books that defend lifestyles and practices that are in direct contradiction to the Bible, which is the law of God.  So what is the church to do as society races toward wickedness?  Well, we can find a great example from the early apostles.  It was not an accident that the early Christians had to find their beginning in a governmental setting, the Roman Empire, that was far from godly.  In fact, it was known for many unbelieveable atrocities and Christians were dying for their faith.  Yet, thousands came to the Lord and some of the greatest miracles recorded were in this very setting.  Grace is most powerful in the midst of a conflict.  That is how you know grace is real!  When the evil hand of government was heavy against the early church, the power of God on them only increased.  God gave them great grace to stand up to it all. Notice that the early church lacked in nothing!  We have to believe in and be confident of that same power for us today.  In power we will be a great witness in our communities and many who have stood for evil will turn to righteousness and those who resist the work of God will not be able to keep God's people from growing in power and number.  In this hour, we won't come up short and in need, but the power of God is going to manifest so we can deal with the evils of the day.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I trust You for a measure of great grace upon my life and upon the church today.  Cause a new boldness to be upon us Lord, that we might be a witness filled with power!  I declare that great grace is upon me, my family, and my church.  Thank You Jesus!  Amen.

God laughs at recession

Daily prophetic word
Recession Has No Power!
"In the talk of economical recession, I laugh," says the Lord.  "Know that even as the birds fed Elijah by the river, so will I feed My children and care for them in ways that will baffle the world.  So fear not the power of recession and lack that comes to steal, but fear the Living God who brings impossible abundance among you!"

Prophetic Scripture:
John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.

Many economies around the world are stuggling and the pending fear of recession and even in some cases depression are always before us.  People are concerned about losing their jobs, finding solid work, maintaining a successful business and so on.  Yet, as the people of God, our confidence cannot be in our economy or even our income.  Our trust has to be the Lord.  Jesus said that on this earth, corruption exists.  In other words, a thief called the devil is here to steal from people.  Yet, when Jesus is our Lord and governing our lives we don't have to fear being stolen from or living without provision.  The Bible clearly shows us throughout Scripture, that God has always supplied for His people.  We even find in 1 Kings 17, that the Lord supplied for Elijah in a miraculous way by sending ravens to bring him food.  God wants to give us an abundant life of supply, but we will never walk in that type of abundance if we keep looking over our shoulder in fear of economic or financial ruin.  God laughs at recession because He knows that He is much greater  than all of that.  When the Lord is your source, you don't have to fear economic ruin because God will always supply for His children even in the most unusual and exepected ways!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I rejoice that I am part of the kingdom of Heaven and I do not have to fear economic collapse or recession.  I place all my confidence in You today.  You are my source of abundant supply and nothing shall be able to harm, steal or destroy me or my family.  I laugh in the face of recession and expect supernatural supply of blessing today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Tender-hearted

Daily prophetic word
Acts of Kindness
"This day in all you do, do it with kindness," says God. "For it is in kindness and tenderhearted love that I am found.  Reach out through acts of kindness and I will be found of you to meet all your needs."

Prophetic Scripture:
Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

I recently heard a story about a group of Christian people who formed a committee to criticize and sue a particular ministry because they didn't like some things that ministry was doing.  Now, I don't know all the details of that ministry or even the entire story, so this is not to say who was right or wrong in the situation.  I am sure both sides had some valid arguments  However, what I do know for sure is that when we lash out in anger or backbiting, and create attempts to tear down one another in the church, we are missing one important ingredient.  It is called kindness.  God doesn't look for our great position on the issue and how right we are about something.  He looks for kindness, especially when we don't feel like being kind.  That is when kindness becomes so powerful.  You see, God sends rain to be a blessing on both the evil and the good.  In other words, even when He has the right to destroy the most wicked people, He does an act of kindness.  The verse above says we should find tenderness in our hearts for each other.  That means that we should  never be cold-hearted and harsh, even when we think we are right.  When we choose kindness, we are painting a picture of God.  The next time you wonder whether your acts toward others are kind or not, ask yourself what it would be like to be in their shoes, if someone else were doing that to you.  When you don't know for sure, err on the side of mercy, because one day you may be on the side of needing the kindness and mercy of someone else.  Do something kind for someone today.  Without question, you will find God right there participating in it with you.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, Teach me how to walk in kindness today.  I ask You to forgive me for treating others unkindly at times.  Give me a tender heart today and show me how to be a person who is kind.  I forgive every person and choose to be obedient to the law of kindness that says, if I sow acts of kindness, I will reap the same.  I thank You Lord, for that truth today.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Financial Breakthrough

Daily prophetic word
Final Encouragement
For the Spirit says, "Trust Me this day, regarding all your financial concerns, and even as I supplied the coin in the mouth of the fish, so will I supply for you in a supernatural way!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Matthew 17:27 - …go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and tak up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money:  that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

When Jesus performed the miracle of paying tax from the money supplied in the mouth of a fish, we can find in the story some prophetic revelation that teaches us how to trust God for our financial supply.  First, Jesus had Peter obtain the needed money through something that seemed out of the ordinary and impossible.  Often when it comes to our financial situation, we don't look for God to supply through the unexpected.  Then notice that Jesus told him to "go to the sea and cast a hook,"  How many times do we just sit around and complain about our financial issue, but we don't do anything to position ourself for a blessing.  We never go looking for it!  Peter could have just stayed on the shore and viewed Jesus' request as ridiculous, but he went somewhere instead.  Peter had to do something that revealed that he was participating in a miracle.  Start acting like you know a miracle is about to happen for you!  Notice what else Jesus told Peter.  He said, "thou shalt find a piece of money."  Think of how many financial promises are listed in the Bible.  It is as if Jesus is saying, "thou shalt find your financial breakthrough!"  You need to be encouraged and take the biblical promises of God concerning provision and hold onto them expecting a miracle.  Lastly, Jesus instructed Peter to take the money that was supplied and use it wisely.   When God supplies for you, then take that provision and be a good steward with it.  Know that the Lord wants to help you with your financial issues today.  Believe Him, expect His blessings and be encouraged about your finances today!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that You, and You alone, are my financial source.  I know that You want to supply for me in the most supernatural ways.  I look for a miracle today, beyond all that is possible.  This is my day to receive news of financial encouragement and breakthrough.  Thank You, Lord.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

He will reward you ...

Daily prophetic word
It's Payback Time!
"This is the time, yes it is payback time!" says the Spirit.  "Know that all your work shall be rewarded and what the enemy has tried to steal from your hand shall be brought back to you in its  full measure during this season!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Ruth 2:12 - The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust,

That is the prophetic sound for this season in the Spirit.  God's prophets have been speaking, "payback time."  That means to get in on the blessing you need to use your faith and claim that for your own life.  Start getting up each morning and saying, "this is my day of reward, it's my payback time."  It doesn't matter what things look like, what matters is knowing that God is paying us back for what the enemy has stolen.  Why does the Lord do that?  It is because God is just and when He sees that we have done righteously and the devil has come into our lives to steal, kill and destroy, God tallies up the final score.  The Lord always finds the devil without another hand to deal.  The devil loses. The righteous always win out over evil.  Be confident today that it is payback time in the spirit and your full reward is upon you!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I declare, payback, payback, payback, over my life today!  I trust You and know that You are rewarding me for following You and putting Your Word to practice in my life.  So , I tell the devil today, "You bring back everything you have stolen!  I command ________________________ to be brought back to me right now, in Jesus' Name!  Father, I receive all You have for me today and I expect it right now.  In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Develop New Habits

Daily prophetic word
Old Habits Broken!
"So see, that I have placed the strength in you to break the old habits and mindsets," says God.  "I will cause you to rise above what seems to draw you back into failure, for know that I have made you able to stand confidently in the spirit, even this very day."

Prophetic Scripture:
Romans 7:23-25 - But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  O wretched man that I am!  Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is an old saying that says old habits die hard.  In other words, the longer something has lived with you, the harder it is to get rid of it.  Recently, I decided to clean out our family coat closet.  I started pulling things from the closet and to my surprise there were things stored in that small space that I didn't even know how they got in there!  They had been in there so long, and should have been thrown away months ago.  The problem was that they had been sitting in the back of the closet undetected.  It is the same with bad habits in our lives.  They just sit there in the back of our minds and we don't always address the fact that they need to be thrown away!  However, these habits are often like some of those things we pull from the closet.  We have a hard time letting go of them!  We know we don't need them, but we struggle to let them go!  Some of these habits, might be secret sins.  Others may just be little quirks that are a part of our daily life which everyone around you notices, and they will happily agree that you need to remove them!  The Apostle Paul apparently had a hard time getting rid of a few habits too.  From the verse above it seems he struggled trying to remove some things.  The key he found, according to the verse above, was that Jesus is not afraid to put some of these items in the trash for us, if we will let Him.  How do we do that?  Romans 8:1-13, gives us a key.  It says that those who run toward spiritual things will be empowerd to overcome habits, but those who constantly focus on earthly things will keep their habits snuggly packed away in the closets of their life.  Jesus can deliver us from bad habits, if we will put our focus on the things of the spirit everyday and be willing to see every closet clean and clear!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank You that Jesus has delivered me from every bad habit today.  I ask that You would come into all the closets of my life and help me clean out every part of them.  I command the bad habit(s) of _________________________ to leave my life right now!  I rise up to build new habits today in all areas of living.  Teach me Holy Spirit how to develop good habits today!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen!

Make a Committment to See in the SPIRIT !!

Daily prophetic word
Expanded Vision
"So stretch your eyes to see," says the Spirit.  "Look beyond what is only just in front of you, for there are many good things that I have created in your path.  See the greater increase, greater glory and greater miracles.  Look this day and your vision in the spirit shall be expanded in a great way!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Isaiah 40:26 - Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names, by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

It takes determination to see beyond your immediate surroundings.  In fact, it takes practice.  I think learning to look past yourself and your present set of circumstances is like learning to exercise.  It doesn't just come automatically, that is for certain!  You have to make the committed decision to put on your workout clothes, get on your athletic shoes and get working!  Stretching your eyes in the spirit to see the things of God is the same way.  It takes practice.  You have to make the decision everyday to look at your present situation and see the glory of God beyond it!  Sometimes that will take some stretching!  Your spiritual eyes, if they have grown weak, will not want to do that!  They will want to pity about all that is not going right.  You have to retrain what you see.  Just like excercising, your muscles will only get bigger with constant stretching and use.  In the same way, expanding your vision comes through consistent and disciplined use of your spiritual eyes!  That is how you enlarge your vision and make it stronger.  If you want to see big things, then build your spiritual vision.  When you do, you will see the  power of God that is much bigger than yourself and be confident that impossible miracles will manifest in your life!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I ask that You will expand my spiritual vision today.  I make a commitment to see in the spirit all the things that You have for me. Anoint my eyes Lord and help me see beyond my present situations.  I choose to see miracles, I choose to see the God of the impossible.  I see new things and expect to go new places in the spirit today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Rise Up

Daily prophetic word
Fear of Failure Broken!
"For you have not been created for failure," says the Lord.  "Even this day, the fear of failure would try to tell you a lie and that you will never succeed.  Rise up now and break the fear and that voice of failure in your life!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:  for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The fear of failure is one of the greatest obstacles that people have to overcome.  Most often we fear failure because of a previous negative experience, when something didn't work out the way we planned.  Maybe it was a prayer that we prayed and we didn't receive the answer we wanted.  Perhaps, it was a project or business endeavor that didn't produce the desired results.  Whatever your circumstance happens to be, these things can plant a failure mentality or fear of failure in our minds.  Then as you step out in faith again, your mind will try to tell you, "remember what happened the last time?"  If we are not careful, then we find ourselves less willing to take steps toward the success God really intends for our lives.  However, the verse above, tells us the our road to good success is found by meditating on the Word of God.  Why is that true?  Because, if you keep looking at all those previous experiences, you will lack confidence in your ability to succeed in life.  But if you look everyday at all the promises and encouragement found in the Bible, you will go through the day feeling like you can overcome anything!  In addition to that, a lifestyle of daily focus on God's Word will also help you stay obedient to the Lord, and that in itself will keep you clear of failure!  We don't have to fear any type of failure when we keep our eyes on the Lord and His Word.  In fact, we have the power to speak to those thoughts and demons of failure and tell them to leave us in Jesus' Name.  Rise up and break the fear of failure trying to enter your life today!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You have created me to be successful.  I set my attention upon Your words today and ask that You will help me see the plan of success You have for my life.  I command all fear of failure to leave my life and declare that I shall be successful in the Lord!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God is your rear-guard

Daily prophetic word
Protected from the Unexpected
"Know today that I am watching all your goings," says the Lord.  "Even from the unexpected, My protective hand will keep you safe.  For the secret plots of the enemy will be thwarted and not come near you this day!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Isaiah 52:12 - For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight:  for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

So what exactly is a rereward?  No, it is not a typographical error.  It is a word that means "rear-guard."  It literally means that God's got your back!  Did you know that most military armor was always designed to protect you from the front?  Helmet, breastplate, shield and sword were all designed to help you confront the enemy when you see him coming.  But what about those sneak attacks that come from behind?  You know the devil does not play fairly and if he can he will try to attack you from behind when you don't seem him coming.  Of course, we know that is not the fair way to fight, but satan doesn't play by those rules of engagement.  However, God made a delaration in the Scripture above, that His presence will cover you in the front and from behind.  In other words, nothing is left exposed for open access to the enemy.  God will go before you and watch you from behind where you can't see the enemy coming.  You may not know today how many times the Lord prevented something from coming your way or averted an evil attack.  Today trust that God has your back and if you will not be fearful of "what might happen", then your faith will bring the power of God over every part of your life and good things "will happen."  God is your rear-guard today!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I rejoice that You are watching my back today!  I declare that nothing can come from behind in a sneak attack to try and harm me.  I say with my mouth that all is well today over me, my family, my church and city.  I walk in the peace and protection of the Lord everywhere I go today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

An Eternal Reward

Daily prophetic word
Unto the Lord!
"For all you do this day, do it for Me and Me alone," says the Lord.  "Look not for the affirmation and praise of man, but learn to see My view of you and know that each good deed, each gift given and what is done in My Name is carefully recorded in heaven as an eternal reward for you."

Prophetic Scripture:
Ephesians 6:7 - With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.

The best way to know if your motives are pure in life is to check and see if you are looking over your shoulder for a pat on the back all the time.  Many of us have forgotten that we are not to spend our time looking for man's praise for the things we accomplish.  I heard a story of someone not too long ago who was angry with his church and decided he wanted all the offerings he gave the church to be returned to him.  I am sorry to say that man did not give his offerings to the Lord and therefore, those gifts will not be found in the eternal record books of heaven one day.  How tragic!  Why would someone want to give up an eternal reward for a few thousand dollars and a grudge?  Even a million dollars wouldn't have been worth it!  That person was giving their money to man and not to God and lost his reward for doing so.  Think of how many things we do every day, projects we work on or good deeds we provide someone, but in the back of our mind, we are waiting for our proper credit and dues!  That is not how God wants us to live.  Now there is nothing wrong with being properly proud of something you did or a reward you received from something or someone.  God uses people to reward us this way and build our confidence.  We also need a certain degree of approval from those closest to us to act as checks and balances to our actions.  The problem comes in when we expect man's praise and affirmation to make us who we are and thus determine how much we will do for them in the future.  No, instead we have to do good deeds and obey the Bible even when no one is looking and no one is handing out compliments.  This applies at home, on the job, at church or in our communities.  What we do, is for the Lord, and no matter what people do with our efforts, that proper motive is going to gain us an eternal reward!

Prayer:

Dear Lord,  I ask that You will help me check all my motives today.  I make a commitment before You to do everything as a service to You and not to man.  Cause me to become content with Your approval alone and not be motivated by the affirmation of other people.  I repent of any time when my good works have been done to man and not to You.  I gladly serve You with my heart today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

The Set Time

Daily prophetic word
The Appointed Time

"Yes, this is the set time, the time I have appointed for the vision of your heart to come to pass," says the Spirit.  "For what you cannot see, is the very thing that is already happening, so be devoted to the heavenly vision for your life, because the time for its manifestation is near."

Prophetic Scripture:
Habakkuk 2:3 - For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry ,wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

The verse above in Habakkuk is an interesting play on words.  In one breath it says the vision will not tarry, but then it turns around and says even though it does tarry, keep waiting for it!  So truthfully, what is the Lord trying to say here?  The first thing to know, if we are going to understand it clearly, is that God always has an appointed time for things to come to pass in our lives.  Sometimes waiting for them is the hardest part and is why people get sidetracked and distracted from the promises they are standing upon.  The greatest example I can think of when it comes to waiting on God's timing for a promise was the promise of Jesus' coming to earth.  God spoke about it as early as the garden of Eden.  He used prophets all over the Old Testament to tell it, but Jesus didn't come until the appointed time, which was thousands of years later!  As desperate as the world was, there was still a set time.  Whatever the destiny for your life is, God has a set time for you also.  Once you know that, then you can begin by waiting for it.  On one side it will feel like it is delayed, but when you keep waiting for it with expectancy, then it will feel inside you as if it is already here!  The vision on one end can feel so far away, but on the other end, feel more real to you than anything.  You just know God has an appointed time, and while you are focused on that with expectant faith, then its reality is what speaks to you everyday and brings you and your promise closer together.  Wait for the vision that God has put in your heart, because in the end it will speak to you and lie not!  See your apointed time upon you today!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank You for the set time regarding everything You have promised in my life.  I position myself with new expectant faith right now.  I place my eyes on the time You have wonderfully appointed for me and refuse to say again, "why isn't it here?"  I say it will not tarry, but I will wait for it.  I thank You Lord that the vision and promise in my heart shall speak right now!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

See and Appreciate each Miracle

Daily prophetic word
Little by Little
"See that every binding spirit and evil intruder will be driven from your dwelling places," says the Lord.  "For by forcing them out one by one and little by little, you will be able to note the work of My hand in a way that you could not do so before, and one room at a time, I the Lord will reinforce your house!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Deuteronomy 7:21-23 - Thou shalt not be affrighted at them:  for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.  And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee little by little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.  But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

Sometimes we want everything to happen in one day.  We think, "Wow, if I could just get this over with and be done!"  Well, in the spirit that is not always how it works!  Of course, we all wish it were that easy.  Yet, God has an incredible way of working things so that we can experience lasting results.  If He made everything too easy, we wouldn't learn anything in the process.  Often when our children were younger, they always wanted help picking up their room on cleaning day.  No,w it wasn't that we didn't help them, but we had to teach them that getting rid of the mess still requires them to pick up the objects around the room one by one!  So we taught them this principle by going around the room together--little by little!  Yes, we were there to teach them how to properly store and place things and show them what needed to be thrown away.  We even helped them speed up the process sometimes!  Yet, they had to learn how to drive out the mess little by little themselves!  In a similar way, the Lord is there to provide anointing and power to help us with some of the messes the devil has created in our lives, but He wouldn't be a good Father if He didn't teach us how to drive out the demons with spiritual precision one at a time!  Why is that so important?  Well, just like our children, when they clean the room themselves one object at a time, they are not so quick to make a mess of things the next time.  They appreciate the power it takes to clean the room!  They not only learn the art of driving the mess out of a room, but they also become more determined not to let a mess come back in!  Yes, God will supply His mighty hand to help you clean the mess, but He will help you one battle and stronghold at a time, so you can see and appreciate each miracle that God does to help you.  As you drive them out little by little, you will learn to rise up as the mighty man or woman of God you are destined to be!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You are a good Father and You are teaching me each day how to remove evil from my life, my family and my household.  I thank You for a fresh anointing for spiritual warfare in my life and I ask You to teach me how to see Your hand working to help me.  I rise up today as the person You have created me to become and I drive out every stronghold from my life one by one!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen!

Get Behind God's Leaders

Daily prophetic word
Strong Shepherds Among You

"Truly I have already set My shepherds in place for the upcoming season," says the Lord of the Church.  "For I always have My appointed ones ready and positioned.  Yes, they shall give a fresh word without fear, and shall take strong and godly oversight.  So undergird them with confidence now, for they shall be the safeguard to cover My sheep in this dangerous time."

Prophetic Scripture:
I Peter 5:2-4 - [To the elders which are among you]…Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.  And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

God never called His leaders and shepherds to be followers of the sheep. Instead, He has placed shepherds and leaders to forge the way in front of the people, taking the darts of criticism and media onslaught, with an excessive weight of responsibility and over demanding schedules.  More amazingly, the Lord has always used imperfect leaders to take hold of this enormous task.  Yet, even with certain flaws, God will always have strong and godly leaders.  No matter the year, the season or decade we are in, the Chief Shepherd will always have the right shepherds positioned to lead His sheep.  Sometimes sheep leading is a thankless job!  Some sheep don't want to be led anywhere and will see a confident shepherd as controlling. That is why Peter, in the verse above, said that shepherds should lead willingly, not with control, but with confidence.  Here is how we can easily recognize the difference between confident and controlling leaders, as well as know the intimidated ones from God's anointed shepherds.   God's leaders will defend the principles of Scripture without relent.  They will strive to defend and obey the Bible regardless of popular trends or religious critics and expect those they lead to do the same.  You can often sense this quality on them, even in the pulpit, but you will never recognize that quality in a leader if you, as a sheep, don't stay constantly immersed in the Bible yourself.  Instead you will view leaders through personal preference, experience, or offense.  Finally, I believe God's true shepherds will carry a crown of glory upon them.  Of course, we know that will happen when Jesus returns.  But even when Jesus appears or manifests in our churches right now, we will find God's glory upon His shepherds.  Sure, there will always be those who will not lead properly.  King Solomon said, "there is no new thing under the sun."  (Ec. 1:9)  Yet, the Chief Shepherd will ALWAYS have leaders who will lead confidently with the glory of the Lord upon their head.  The supernatural will follow them.  Judges 5:2 (NLT) says, "Israel's leader's took charge, and the people gladly followed."   Get behind God's leaders in this hour, it will protect you and keep you close to the Chief Shepherd, Jesus the Lord of His Church!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I pray for my pastor and shepherd.  Help him/her to lead with confidence in a way that pleases You.  I also pray for all the leaders You have appointed to lead and teach us all over the world.  Protect them and encourage each one, Lord.  I ask that You will show me how to be supportive and not critical and I trust You, Jesus, as the governor over your leadership.  I receive that grace right now.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Ask God to Teach You

Daily prophetic word
The Great instructor
"For those things that you have struggled to know and understand in the past shall become easy to learn now," says the Lord.  "For I long to teach you carefully and instruct you in your everyday tasks.  Yes, I will teach you with supernatural anointing so you will avoid the troubles of the past."

Prophetic Scripture:
Psalm 27:11- Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Here David is actually asking the Lord to teach him.  Sometimes we assume that God is teaching us automatically, and that is probably true.  The Holy Spirit lives inside of us and He is our teacher.  However, it is also important to ask God to teach us, especially in the specific areas of our lives where we need help.  For example, if you need help with parenting, begin by asking God to teach you the skills necessary to become a good parent.  The you can look for good Christian resources to help you, but it is important to ask God first, so that He is involved in the process of learning right from the beginning.  Sometimes we don't learn as quickly because we don't purposefully make God a part of our learning endeavors.  When God is a part, He will provide supernatural instruction that will take you far beyond what you could learn just through human study and effort.  David, in the verse above, asked God to teach him because he knew that there were many enemies out there who wanted to trap him.  Today, our main enemy is the devil, but there are many enemies we can avoid simply because we are well instructed in one area or another.  Knowledge is powerful and God wants to impart it to you.  Now that doesn't mean you won't have to do anything, but it means that coupled with your efforts, the Holy Spirit will add His power and make you learn things more quickly and according to the Word of God.  Go ahead, ask God to teach and instruct you today!

Prayer:

Lord, You are truly the great instructor.  You know all things and I believe that You want to teach me the things I need to learn.  Teach me Your ways, instruct me as I read Your Word and help me gain knowledge for the things I need in everyday life.  Teach me the skills in the area of __________________________ and I thank You that I will avoid the traps of the enemy.  I look to You as my teacher today!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Command the devil to come out...

Daily prophetic word
Come Out!
"So command now every evil spirit that would try to remain this day to leave your presence," says the Lord, "and they will obey you!  Wherever demonic power has tried to enter in, tell them to come out!  Tell them," says the Spirit,  "every time you see them lurking and watch them flee from you!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Mark 5:8 - For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
There are two key words you can use to secure and maintain your own deliverance from evil spirits.  We often say them in reference to ministering deliverance for others but forget to speak them when demon powers want to hold us in bondage or just meddle in our business.  Those simple words are "Come Out!"  You can command unclean spirits to leave your mind, your body, your finances, your workplace and wherever else they may be trying to gain access.  Too often when we see something wrong in our own life or surroundings, we deal with it passively.  We casually try to ignore it or even pray a little about it.  If it begins getting a little too imposing we read a Bible verse or two.  However, many Christian people just muddle through and keep tolerating it.  Sometimes you have to just wake up one day and realize that this is the devil!  When Jesus met up with the demonized man in Mark 5, He had no trouble recognizing the devil was at work.  Yet, sometimes the devil doesn't hang around in an obvious way like that, all dressed in a shiney red devil suit.  He comes subtly until you get used to him hanging around.  Well then, how do you know for sure it's the devil?  Because the devil and evil go together.  If it is bad and evil, it's probably got a demon nearby cheering it on!  Don't let him set up shop at your house!  James 4:7 says to resist him and he will have to flee!  Tell that devil to just "Come Out!"

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You that I have authority over the evil one because Jesus gave it to me.  Forgive me for not using that authority and allowing demon powers to hang around.  I make a choice to resist the devil today.  So Lord, with that power I resist the devil right now!  I speak to every demon and command them to leave in the Name of Jesus!  Powers of darkness you have to flee every area of my life because I command you to come out right now!  I now thank you Lord that I am delivered today!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Press Deeper

Daily prophetic word
 Press Deeper into the Spirit
"Truly the precious things of the spirit shall be found of those who press into them," says the Lord.  "For this is not the time to live at ease.  So press in deeper to find Me this day and in the days ahead.  Yes, in that place you will find those things that have escaped you, which you have desired for a long time."

Prophetic Scripture:
Luke 16:16 - The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

The way people approached Jesus during the years when He walked the shores of Galilee, paints a picture of how the Lord wants us to approach Him now.  Luke 5:1, says the people pressed on Him, just to hear Him speak!  There were throngs of people crowding Him almost daily!  It always appeared that those who put the greatest effort into their pushing toward Jesus, received their blessing or miracle.  Think about it.  The woman with the issue of blood, pressed through the crowd (Mk. 5:27).  She got healed!  Then we find the young man who was lowered through the roof on a stretcher (Lk. 5:17).  The power of the Lord was present to heal the doctors of the law who were sitting there, but the one who got the miracle was the one who pressed toward it.  The rest missed their opportunity for a blessing.  These are only two examples, but the Gospels are filled with similar examples where the crowd and certain individuals pressed upon Jesus with incredible determination.  I think the Bible put those stories in there for our own lesson, which is:  If you want the precious things of God, if you want a miracle, then you have to press into Him!  If you are just casual about it or always tell yourself, "Oh, I could never have anything that good, because those things never seem to happen for me,"  then that is exactly what you will have--nothing!  If you want a deeper relationship with the Lord, then press deeper, go a little farther, and dig into it!  When you press toward spiritual things with determination and faith you will get exactly what you came to receive!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I make the decision to press deeper into the things of the spirit today.  I press toward You right now.  I press toward my miracle and blessing.  I declare that I shall receive today exactly what I came to obtain.  My answer shall not escape me because I press deep into the Lord today!  In Jesus' Name.

Fresh Fire from the Holy Spirit

Daily prophetic word
 Set on Fire!
"For I ignite you afresh and I have set you ablaze with new zeal.  Yes, and I have called you My servant of fire and I anoint you with it.  For now, every place you go, people shall see your light and power burning among them!" says the Spirit of the Lord.

Prophetic Scripture:
Psalm 50:2-3 – Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.  Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

As Christians we represent the spiritual Zion.  It is out of our lives that the might and power of God will shine.  Yet, we all have times where we don’t feel very shiny!  We might feel like we are growing weary and allowing our light to resemble a dwindling ember.  When we have those times in life, God will send His wind to blow on our fire and rekindle it again if we are hungry to receive it.  When the fire of the Lord comes and shows itself in the earth, it manifests itself though us.  That is why in Acts 2:1-4, when the Holy Spirit came and rested upon the people, it came like a fire.  Jesus is the one who came to baptize us with the Holy Ghost and with fire (Luke 3:16).  Our God is a fire and He has come to set you and me on fire too!  He wants His power to shine through your life so much that people can’t miss it!  When your life has been set ablaze by the Holy Spirit that anointing will devour obstacles and open up a path through resistance and it cannot remain hidden from others.  Fire is growing and moving and will heat up the atmosphere!  Once a powerful fire has come in contact with something it will never be the same.  This is what God wants for you!  God will set you on fire to be seen so that His power will not only deliver you, but minister the same anointing to someone else.  Let the Holy Spirit set you on fire afresh today!

Prayer:

Lord, I ask You for a fresh baptism of fire and zeal right now.  Set me ablaze with a new anointing to minister and change the things that need to be changed.  I stir up the embers of my life today and ask You Holy Spirit to blow upon me and increase my fiery zeal!  Thank You Lord for the fire of Your Spirit on me right now! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.

A New Anointing

Who Are the Ones Carrying the New Anointing?

As I was writing my book Shifting Shadows of Supernatural Anointing (about the emerging anointing I am seeing when I pray for individuals, and seek to identify those who are emerging), I asked the Lord recently, "Who are the ones carrying the New Anointing?"

"They Are Examples of My Mercy"

And He stood before me and replied:

"They are examples of My mercy; extensions of My grace. One who has been forgiven much, loves much, and walks in a new dimension of faith, hope and love. Because they walk, live and dwell so close to My heart they are able to impart that to others. There is no judgmentalism in them. They judge not because they know that My love suspends judgment and feel the embrace of My total acceptance – an acceptance they could never earn – a love that will never be denied or withheld.

"Their humility is the conduit of power.

"Their ability to honor others and move within a team mentality increases their authority and provides the safety I desire for them."

"They Are Not Afraid to Share Their Testimony"

"They are not afraid to share their testimony because they are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; for they know it is the power of God unto salvation. And the very anointing that breaks the hold of the enemy on cultures is this power of God unto salvation – released through the word of their testimony and the ever-increasing revelation of My Blood.

"They are not a remnant cowering in caves. They are leaders taking lands, tribes and nations. They are filled with a holy boldness born of being one who is My favored one, My beloved, called by My name, born to inherit nations, born specifically in this hour of history, for this hour.

"They Have Laid Down Weapons of Carnal Warfare and Traded Them in for a Revelation of Extreme Love"

"They are the new liberation theology I am turning loose on the world. Sent as reminders of grace and mercy, they have laid down weapons of carnal warfare and traded them in for a revelation of extreme love.

"And they will know My love in the days to come. Each one, personally – shockingly – stunned beyond reason, stupefied and abandoned to all but Me. Just one touch of My love transforms the most broken and orphaned into a holy, anointed child in whom is all My delight. And they will come – en masse.

"They will be the forerunners of a love revolution I am sending to wash the earth like a flood as in the days of Noah; a flood not to destroy but to heal the land.

"Because they bear the marks of Christ on their body, the scars etched across their souls, the emblems of suffering evident in their emotional scars and skin markings, some will embrace them. Others will shun them.

"And to the ones who cannot receive them, tell them this: 'Go and learn what this means: "I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners"' (Matthew 9:13)."

Embracing your Future

Daily prophetic word
Embracing Your Future!

"So look with this day," says the Lord, "and see what I will do.  Look no more at what disappointed you, but only let your eyes look at the prize of your high calling in this time!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Proverbs 4:25 - Let thine eyelids look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

The greatest way to begin embracing your future is to keep looking toward it.  It sounds so simple, but the greaest truths in life are usually that simple!   Often the reason we never reach our goals is because we spend so much time looking over our shoulder at what we just walked through.  Sure, there is a time to reflect, but then there's a time to get up and move on.  Not all the events of the past may be answered when you do, but keeping your focus on the path ahead is what will get you to the finish line.  The Apostle Paul said that we are to press toward the prize that awaits us at the finish line (Phil. 3:14).  A runner in a race will never get the gold medal if he keeps looking over his shoulder at what he just ran past or even at the other runners in the neighboring lane.  He has to just look at that finish line.  He has to keep his vision straight ahead of him.  What goals do you need to set your eyes upon?  If you keep looking on the goal everyday, no matter how tired you may feel in the race to reach it, you will embrace the very best that God has for your future in every area of your life!  Just keep your eyes on the goal and the Holy Spirit will guide you into your highest calling in Him!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,  I thank You that these are my best years and even greater things are in store for my future!  I make a firm commitment this day to place my eyes on the goals before me in the following areas: _______________________________. Anoint me, Lord, to walk into my best destiny for you.  Keep my eyes focused on the Holy Spirit and His power.  I embrace my future right now!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Season of Greatness

Daily prophetic word
Greatness is Increased
"Yes, it is in My will for you to step into greatness," says the Spirit.  "Know that I have opened that place of honor for you and the time to move toward it is now, even right now.  Go, for your increase of greatness has begun!"

Prophetic Scripture:
Psalm 71:21 – Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
God has specially designed a place for each of His children to stand in a place of honor and greatness.  Yes, greatness and honor are earned, however God will also anoint and cause it to rest upon your life.  God is the author of honor and He will see to it that you will receive due honor for your purity, lifestyle and commitment to His will.  It may take some time and hard work for you to step onto the platform of honor, but the key is to stay focused on what God has called you to do.  By staying with your calling and staying pointed on your road of destiny, greatness will find you.  The wonderful part is that God will comfort you along the road of hard work as you diligently move toward what He has for you.  Similar to a runner in a race, it takes diligence, practice, hard work, and endurance when no one is noticing you.  Then the honor and greatness of winning the race is only a moment compared to the private work and lifestyle it took to get there.  However, the greatness that God gives for your press of obedience will be the greatest reward you can receive.  Begin to press toward the greatness God has prepared for you and know that once you do, greatness will begin to open for you!  Move toward your season of greatness today!

Prayer:

Father, I receive Your place of destined honor for me.  I ask You Lord to help me as I press on the road toward Your will and destiny for my life.  Help me to walk in obedience and humility as I serve You.  Anoint me for greatness today and I thank You Lord that I shall be a great testimony unto Your mighty Name! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
